How to get to Muirhall Holiday Cottages

Visit our Contact page for the map and directions using Google Maps.  The postcode is ML11 8LL but although this will bring you close to Muirhall, the postcode is centred in a different location from us, so please study our directions as well.  The map on our Contact page has the map pin at the correct place.

From Fife / North Scotland:

  1. Head south over the Forth Bridge for the M8 (towards Glasgow).
  2. Take junction 3 for Livingston heading for the A71 West Calder.
  3. Travel along the A71 through West Calder.  Around 600 metres after leaving West Calder, take left fork.
  4. Travel along A704 for 2 kilometres and take left junction signposted Auchengray.
  5. Travel 7 miles to Auchengray.  At 600 metres after Auchengray, take left fork and we are a further 600 metres on the right.

From Edinburgh Airport:

  1. Head West on M8 signposted Glasgow.
  2. Take junction 3 for Livingston heading for the A71 West Calder.
  3. Travel along the A71 through West Calder. Around 600 metres after leaving West Calder, take left fork.
  4. Travel along A704 for 2 kilometres and take left junction signposted Auchengray.
  5. Travel 7 miles to Auchengray.  At 600 metres after Auchengray, take left fork and we are a further 600 metres on the right.

From Glasgow Airport:

  1. Head East on the M8 signposted Edinburgh.
  2. Take junction 3 for Livingston heading for the A71 West Calder.
  3. Travel along the A71 through West Calder. Around 600 metres after leaving West Calder, take left fork.
  4. Travel along A704 for 2 kilometres and take left junction signposted Auchengray.
  5. Travel 7 miles to Auchengray.  At 600 metres after Auchengray, take left fork and we are a further 600 metres on the right.

From South M74:

  1. Take Junction 12 Signposted A70 Edinburgh / Lanark.
  2. Follow A70 Edinburgh until you are 2 miles past Carnwath (approx 25 mins).
  3. Turn left at Signpost ‘Auchengray 4 miles’.
  4. We are 3 miles along this minor road on the left hand side.

From Edinburgh City By-pass:

  1. Take junction for A70 Lanark.
  2. Follow A70 until signposted ‘Auchengray 4 miles’ right-hand turn (approx 25 mins).
  3. We are 3 miles along this minor road on the left hand side.
